Първият Airbus A400M:

First Airbus A400M flight-test aircraft rests on landing gear

Flightglobal.com has obtained an image of the first Airbus Military A400M flight-test aircraft resting on its own landing gear at the final assembly line near Seville, Spain. The transport is awaiting installation of its composite wing and empennage, together with its four Europrop International TP400 turboprop engines.
Aircraft MSN001 will be the first of six aircraft being dedicated to flight testing, and should fly by mid-2008, says Airbus parent EADS.
EADS recently announced a delay of up to a year to first deliveries of A400Ms to the French air force. The programme's seven European launch nations and two export customers have between them ordered 192 aircraft and had originally expected deliveries to start in November 2009.

Boeing figures show record year for orders

Freshly updated order figures from Boeing show the manufacturer has secured 1,057 gross orders for the year to date, pushing it above its record year in 2006.
Boeing’s orders and deliveries listing on its website, updated on 20 November, sees an additional 72 orders – almost all for unidentified customers – since the previous week’s update.
This gives Boeing 1,057 gross orders for the year to date and 1,047 net orders. This exceeds the 1,050 gross orders and 1,044 net orders recorded by Boeing in 2006, which itself marked a second consecutive record year.
Buoyed by a series of aircraft announcements during the recent Dubai air show, European manufacturer Airbus has already said it would exceed its record sales year – the 1,111 orders it secured in 2005 – this year.

Първият ремонтиран МиГ-29 кацна в Граф Игнатиево

Първият ремонтиран от РСК самолет МиГ-29 кацна днес в авиобаза Граф Игнатиево. Машината бе приета след изпитателен полет, извършен от летеца първи клас майор Николай Недков.
На демонстрационния полет присъстваха представители на Руската самолетостроителна корпорация МиГ, заместник-министърът на отбраната Спас Панчев, командващият на ВВС генерал-лейтенант Симеон Симеонов и целият личен състав на авиобазата.
До края на годината още два самолета ще влязат в експлоатация, а до края на 2008 г. българските ВВС ще имат общо ремонтирани 16 изтребители, каза заместник-министър Панчев, цитиран от БНР.
Четири машини ще бъдат приети през февруари 2008 г., а останалите девет трябва да бъдат готови до началото на 2009 г.
Панчев припомни, че МиГ-29 е най-масовият изтребител и е на въоръжение в 27 държави.
Договорът за ремонта на изтребителите бе подписан миналата година за срок от 36 месеца и за 16 машини. Така се удължава ресурсът на самолетите общо на 40 години от годината на производството им и с 4000 летателни часа.
