A Bulgarian Air Charter Airbus A320-200, registration LZ-LAD performing flight ferry flight BUC-320D from Bratislava (Slovakia) to Sofia (Bulgaria), had just reached cruise FL330 when the crew received an ECAM message "ENG2 FUEL FLOW LOW" and worked the related checklists. The engine (V2500) was retarded to idle, the crew descended the aircraft to FL250. After assessing the situation the crew decided to continue the flight to Sofia at FL250. While descending towards Sofia the crew received the ECAM message "ENG2 FADEC ALTERNATOR" followed the engine shutdown. The aircraft continued for a safe landing on Sofia's runway 27 about one hour after the onset of engine trouble.
The Bulgarian AAIU rated the occurrence a serious incident and opened an investigation.
